St. George’s Home for Girls is a registered Child and Youth Care Centre under the Department of Social Development. It is currently the only residential care facility in the Wynberg District providing support to children aged 3 to 18 years who have been abused, abandoned, neglected, or orphaned.

The Home also cares for children from failed foster placements and those facing behavioural challenges, including some who have been infected or affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Today, 40 girls call St. George’s their safe haven — a place where they can heal, learn, and rebuild their futures.

This year, Tribal Community Development NPO is hosting a Fundraiser in aid of St. George’s Home for Girls as the beneficiary of its fundraising campaign. Your contribution will help us continue providing these children with the care, stability, and opportunities they deserve.
