Hailing from the vibrant streets of Gugulethu and Langa Township in Cape Town, Thandekile Maboee, known as Kila G, is a soulful RnB singer songwriter with a passion for crafting captivating melodies. Drawing inspiration from the rich sounds of jazz and the heartfelt storytelling of Rhythm & Blues, Kila G's music resonates with authenticity and depth.

Throughout his career, Kila G has collaborated with

a diverse array of artists across genres, solidifying

his presence in the Mother City's music scene others. His talents extend beyond performance; he has made his mark as a songwriter, contributing to an Amapiano project for the talented DJ and producer Tashinga.

He has graced some of the biggest stages in South

Africa and Europe, showcasing his artistry to

enthusiastic audiences. He made his mark at the

prestigious CottonFest, where he was the only RnB

artist on a lineup dominated by Hip Hop

headliners. Additionally, he performed at the

Milnertor Gallery showcase in Hamburg, Germany,

as part of a festival organized in partnership with

the NGO Viva Con Agua.

The Elegant King has released four projects thus far and is also the

mastermind behind "The Elegant Show," a curated platform that not only highlights his artistry but also provides emerging talents with the opportunity to shine on the same stage.
