The Hopefield Fynbos Show is a vibrant annual community event held in Hopefield, on the West Coast.
The show features over 200 species of fynbos, showcased in lifelike displays that represent four local biodiversity zones: Renosterveld, Sandveld, Rietveld, and Wetlands.
Highlights
Guided tours led by
knowledgeable locals and volunteers.
Food stalls, coffee, a pop-up restaurant serving traditional meals, a tea garden with delicious cakes and a beer garden with live entertainment, ‘braaivleis’ and steak!
Cultural attractions: Friday night features live music, dancing and the well-known booth serving Hopefield steaks; daily organ recitals at the historic Dutch Reformed Church featuring one of only ten Foster &?Andrews organs in use in South Africa!
And this year we’ve got something new! A 5km and 11km trial run!
