Jackal & the Wind’s latest EP will be released in August 2017. The new EP will be launched with various intimate concerts hosted in and around Paarl, Stellenbosch and Cape Town and this is where we at Sit the Folk Down come in. These intimate concerts provide an opportunity to see the band in their most natural and humble attire.
Jackal & the Wind have been unapologetically raw in their latest release, and the featured songs are a mixture between unadulterated emotion, yet still keeping true to their natural and serene progressions.
Jackal & the Wind debuted onto the South African music scene with their track, “Ukelele Song” receiving more than 270 000 listens on SoundCloud. Their debut track provided a road straight to success taking them to venues, festivals and on tours only few get the chance to experience.
The 1st one in this series will be hosted at a beautiful home in Noordhoek, so come and get cozy, as we once again take over someone's lounge!
Doors open at 18:30 and the show will start at 20:30
