After a successful, vibrant second season, Johannesburg Opera is excited to unveil its third 2025 season! This season promises a mix of entertaining performances curated to captivate and enchant our audiences.

We open the season in August, with our annual women's month celebratory concert, The Power of a Woman's Voice! This grand event will celebrate women by bringing to life some beautiful characters from opera, musicals, and African music.

In September, we will present the Three Tenors for a celebration of musicals with The Sounds of the Musicals. This event will feature a selection of beloved songs from various musicals. The intimate presentation by the Three Tenors will provide an opportunity to enjoy different arrangements of the beautiful melodies you love.

Finally, we will wrap up our season in October with Opera and Operetta. Enjoy a variety of beloved songs from the world of opera and operetta. This concert will showcase the beauty and emotional depth of these timeless pieces, bringing to life the passion and grandeur of the stage.
