Bag Factory Artists' Studios Invites you to participate in the forthcoming

4 x Design Thinking Workshops (In-Person & Virtual)

We are proud to offer four design thinking professional workshops each focused on providing visual artists + creatives alike with additional capacity and knowledge, when planning a project, product or creative endeavour.

From Saturday, 26 July through to Saturday, 23 August - (Yes... every Saturday!) from 10 am - 12 pm you will be lead by Ryan Honeyball.

Workshop 1: Introduction and Discovery Phase (Saturday, 26 July 2025, 10 am - 12 pm )

Objective: Understand the basics of design thinking and the double diamond methodology. Begin the discovery phase by identifying needs, challenges and audiences.

Workshop 2: The Define Phase (Saturday, 2 August 2025, 10 am - 12 pm )

Objective: Synthesise research findings to define the core problem and create a clear problem statement in an effort to arrive at the right solution.

Workshop 3: The Development Phase (Saturday, 9 August 2025, 10 am - 12 pm )

Objective: Ideate and prototype potential solutions for displaying, promoting, and marketing works as solutions.

Workshop 4: The Collaborative Iteration Phase (Saturday, 23 August 2025, 10 am - 12 pm )

Objective: Bring multiple groups together to discuss shared problems, insights, and the solutions you arrived at during the workshops.

Free access to a working space

Need a space to meet or host a professional encounter, or perhaps do research on the go? Our cosy Studio 18 is equipped with a desk, meeting area and wi-fi access. Members of Tier 1 Factory Circle will have to book to access the space.
