The Hope Fundraising Festival, hosted by District 49 Child & Youth Care Centre in partnership with Lightness Productions, is a powerful community-driven initiative dedicated to raising funds for vulnerable children who have suffered abuse, neglect, or abandonment. The festival aims to support and uplift over 30 children by improving their daily care and living environment.
Happening on Saturday, 4 October 2025 at the Blue Marlin All-Inclusive Seascape by Dream Resorts, this vibrant event promises a dynamic mix of entertainment and heart. From 11:00 AM to 5:10 PM, guests can enjoy a high-energy three-a-side soccer tournament hosted by former Bafana Bafana star Siyabonga Nomvethe, live performances by Qadasi & Maqhinga and The Kickstands, and an interactive Kids’ Zone featuring games and surprise visits from Olaf and Mickey Mouse. Delicious food and drinks will also be available for purchase throughout the day.
