Dirk Badenhorst Presents Ballet in the Bush

The world first Ballet in the Bush is back for its third year at Legend Golf and Safari Resort. On the 9th of September international ballet stars will be entertaining the audience with their incredible grace and virtuosity.

Presented by Dirk Badenhorst, the CEO and Founder of the biennial South African International Ballet Competition (SAIBC), in association with Artscape and supported by South African Tourism, the highly anticipated Ballet in the Bush will showcase thrilling variations and pas de deux performed by a a stellar company of professional ballet dancers from Russia, Cuba, Egypt, Mexico and South Africa.

Stars performing include Russian ballerina Maria Rudenko from Russia (pictured) partnered by Artemiy Pyzhov, Washington Ballet’s Andile Ndlovu, Monier Javier Jouve from Spain, Anujin Otgontugs from Mongolia, Hassan Eltabie from Egypt, Mariam Karapetyan from Armenia, Jonhal Fernandez from Mexico, Lissi Baez from Cuba, Dzianis Klimuk from Belarus and Angela Malan from South Africa. Audiences can look forward to spectacular pas de deux and solos from Giselle, Swan Lake (Black Swan and White Swan pas de deux), Paquita and Le Corsaire.
