In a country with very high crime rates, we as Hillsong Africa Foundation believe that together we can ‘Build Lives That Will Help Build a Nation,’ which will bring positive societal change. We invite you to join us at this Prison Ministry Seminar where we will hear from NGOs and other stakeholders in the correctional and rehabilitation fields. The focus will be on both the rehabilitative work done behind bars, as well as aftercare for individuals reintegrating back into society. Speakers and panelists will share about how we can actively play a role in the Aftercare Journey with 'Returning Citizens' which supports them in becoming positive contributors to society, and in turn will help lower the recidivism (or reoffending) rate in South Africa. Together we will explore collaborative opportunities to build lives together.
