Management of Change Workshop

Developing Effective Trigger Action Response Plans

Tuesday, 14 October 2025 (9:30 - 14:30)

Venue: African Pride Melrose Arch

The role of Trigger Action Response Plans (TARPs) in the broader Management of Change (MoC) context is critical, as TARPs provide a structured, proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks that arise from changes when implementing and adopting safety technology in mining operations.

Without established TARPs in place, your operation could be one step away from miscommunication or assumptions that could put lives, the environment, and your company’s future at serious risk.

Join Hexagon’s safety expert, Josh Savit, in this interactive workshop designed to equip participants with the tools and strategies to implement safety technologies and build a resilient safety culture. Discover how to develop and execute effective TARPs that protect your workforce, safeguard the environment, and ensure operational continuity.

By attending, participants will:

  • Develop TARPs that enhance safety and operational efficiency in mining environments.
  • Address the Who, What, When, and Why that must be communicated for effective adoption of technology.
  • Gain practical skills to introduce new technology to differing personas in the organization, from operators to management.
  • Foster a proactive safety culture that minimises incidents and optimises productivity.

Outcome: Participants will leave the workshop with a practical TARP development template tailored for mining operations and a checklist for TARP implementation and monitoring designed to address specific risks within their mining operations.
