Join us at All Saints for a 5-week journey into the heart of God (inspired by Sinners in the Hands of a Loving God by Brian Zahnd)

Each Tuesday between 05 August - 02 September

Over 5 sessions, we’ll tackle big theological questions in a safe, honest, and hope-filled space:

1. What about the Wrath of God?: Discover that God’s wrath isn’t divine rage, but the natural consequence of living against love.
2. What about the Violence in the Old Testament? Learn to read Scripture through the lens of Jesus, the nonviolent, compassionate face of God.
3. What about the Cross? Explore how the cross reveals God’s love, not His need for punishment.
4. What about Hell? Rethink judgment and hell as human rejection of God’s love, not eternal torture.
5. What about Revelation? See the final book of the Bible not as a fear-filled prophecy, but a hope-filled vision of love overcoming empire and evil.

Admission is free, but donations will be gratefully received at the door.

We want to be clear: this course is not about asking you to abandon your beliefs. Instead, it’s an invitation to encounter fresh ways of understanding familiar ideas, all centred on the love, mercy, and justice revealed in Jesus.

Many thoughtful, faithful Christian scholars and pastors, people who deeply love Jesus and Scripture, come to different conclusions on these topics. Rather than avoiding the tension, we want to explore these perspectives together in a way that strengthens our faith, deepens our discipleship, and cultivates a healthy spirituality.

Our goal is simple: to help shape a life-giving faith that leads to the twofold love that Jesus spoke of: love of God, and love and flourishing of neighbour.
