Helderberg Village Music Society Concert

The Helderberg Village Music Society is delighted to present a concert featuring three outstanding classical musicians: Esthea Kruger (piano), Annien Shaw (violin), and Annelize de Villiers (clarinet).

All three artists have performed internationally and bring a wealth of talent and experience. Esthea is a lecturer at the South African College of Music and a renowned solo and chamber pianist. Annien, a specialist in both modern and Baroque violin, teaches at Stellenbosch University and has toured widely with string ensembles. Annelize is a passionate chamber musician, trained in Switzerland, who has performed across Europe.

The programme includes Grieg’s Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 3 in C minor, a powerful Romantic work full of Norwegian character; Rózsa Kokai’s Hungarian Dances, rich in folk rhythms and expression; and Khachaturian’s Trio for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano, a colourful and heartfelt work with Eastern European influences.
