ABOUT
Join us in the beautiful Natal Midlands from Friday 1st – Saturday 2nd December 2017 for our BELIEVE Conference with Steve Backlund from Bethel Church, Redding, California.
BELIEVE is an opportunity to see your life transformed! Proverbs 23:7 tells us that, ‘as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he,’ giving us a glimpse into the powerful effect our internal world has on determining the course of our destinies. All of life flows from the internal set of beliefs we hold as truth, providing the lens through which we ‘see’ life and engage with God and the world around us.
For most part of our Christian walk, we have focused on changing our external behaviour with little focus given to the work of God in helping us to change the way we think and renew our internal beliefs in line with Truth. At our BELIEVE Conference, author & international speaker Steve Backlund aims to impart divine strategies for success that will equip every believer to live with abounding hope and joy. This teaching will break off limits from individuals and position them to be continually transformed by the renewing of their minds. Through laughter, declarations, biblical truth, and revelatory teaching, this time will see you catapulted into higher perspectives and victorious mindsets.

We would like to honour the Speakers at this year’s Conference with a generous offering. We believe that generosity
unlocks so much more in the Kingdom of God and so if you would like to sow into their lives & ministry please come
prepared. We will be taking up an offering for them during the Conference.

CONFERENCE SPEAKER
Steve Backlund, together with his wife Wendy, were senior pastors for seventeen years
before joining the Bethel Church (Redding, California) team in 2008. Ten of those years
were spent on the backside of the desert in Central Nevada where they led their church
into renewal, significant numerical growth and positively affected their area. In 2001 Bill
Johnson and Kris Vallotton invited them to be senior leaders at Mountain Chapel in
Weaverville, California (the church that Bill led for seventeen years) to continue leading
the outpouring there. As a result of these experiences, Steve and Wendy have a special
heart for senior leaders of rural and smaller churches. They believe strong local churches
are the key to sustaining and increasing the manifestation of this current spiritual
awakening.
They have a message that ignites hope and joy wherever they go. Steve serves on the executive committee of Global
Legacy (an apostolic relational network based out of Bethel Church, Redding USA). They travel extensively to
encourage and empower churches around the world in revival culture and victorious mindsets. Steve and Wendy
have 3 children and 7 grandchildren, a dog named Duncan, and cat named Mister Mittens.
CONFERENCE SCHEDULE
MEALS
Meals are NOT INCLUDED in the Conference Registration. Delegates will be responsible
for their own meals, but we have a number of options available on campus:
- Café Chazown, our very own in-house café, will be serving quality cappuccinos, smoothies, sodas, waters etc. to quench your thirst. They will also have a number of light breakfast treats available, together with delicious cakes,muffins, savoury snacks.
- During the Lunch and Supper times, there will be a food court setup with various food vendors selling affordable meals. This will mean that delegates can stay on campus for meal times. If you would prefer to visit a local restaurant, we have a number of great options to choose from in Howick. Information about these restaurants will be included in the Conference‘goodie bag’.
ACCOMODATION
Delegates are responsible for organising their own accommodation for the Conference. Below is a list of
B&B/Hotels/Self-Catering Accommodation. Please book early to avoid any disappointment.
If you cannot afford accommodation and would like to attend the conference please let us know. We would hate
anybody to miss out on what God wants to do in their lives over this time because of finances. We do ask that this
offer is reserved for those that really need it. Thank you!

There will be a number of Steve & Wendy Backlund’s books/dvds/curriculum resources available for sale. Payment for
Resources must be made at the Resource Corner at the Conference. DEBIT CARD & ZAPPER FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE.
We also stock a range of books by Bethel Leaders and other Revival Leaders, including gifts & worship CD’s.
