Journey of House

House Music popularity in South Africa started in the late 80s and early 90s, particularly after apartheid, uniting nations. DJs have been celebrating the genre and entertaining patrons in night clubs since then. In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic made it Impossible for DJs and Patrons to unite. Family Thing Entertainment, through the “Journey of House” music podcast released mixes of national and international DJs to remind them where it all began. The event will be celebrating the history of house music (old tunes / classics) played by various DJs on vynils.
