Under the theme “Women in IT” we are excited to invite you to an IT-High Tea focusing on “Leadership and Collaboration in the Digital Era”. This event is a collaboration between Cisco SA, Wired Women, IITPSA and Wits University’s JCSE.  We will explore what it means to Lead and Collaborate across (inter)national boundaries utilizing the latest digital technology. 

 The agenda for the event is as follows:
  • Welcome and Introduction (Cathy Smith, GM CISCO SA)
  • Cisco International Leadership Panel Discussion
  • Internet of Things (IoT) Demo showcasing an international initiative to fight wildlife crime using Cisco digital technologies presented by Karen Sharpe, NIL DataSA
  •  Local Panel Discussion on the theme of collaboration in the digital era
Breakaways
  • High Tea / Networking
  • Security Demo (understanding the risks and rewards of digitization and what solutions are available)
  • Collaboration Demo (the Cisco Spark Board app enables teams to connect virtually outside the physical room, through the devices of your choice.)

Note: A remote session will also be hosted at Wits University’s Tshimologong Precinct, 41 Juta Street, Braamfontein. No booking required.
