Jägermeister, That Other Booing Company and Aandklas Stellenbosch are excited to present three of the most talented upcoming acts Cape Town has to offer. Join us as we host Majozi, BRYNN and Hezron Chetty on Saturday 26 August.Tickets are R50 and the music starts at 20:00.
Majozi is refreshingly sincere and crafts heartfelt songs that artfully portray his uplifting perspective on the world around him. He plays the guitar, keys and drums and draws inspiration from his faith and the world around him. Majozi is a proudly South African musician from the coastal city of Durban who wears his heart on his sleeve. Literally. He has tattoos dedicated to his faith and to his mother - two very defining aspects of his life, both of which inspire the music he writes.
BRYNN is an alternative folk-rock act based in Cape Town. The band consists of musicians Hezron Chetty on violin, David van Vuuren on lead guitar and backing vocals, Alex Smillie on bass, Jules Terea on vocals and rhythm guitar and Eddy Kriel on drums. Since the bands conception in January this year, BRYNN has gained a loyal following due to their consistent, passionate and powerful performances. They're growing more and more by the day and loving every minute of it.
After spending many years travelling around the world Hezron Chetty crafted a groundbreaking way of performing the violin. His mesh of styles include genres not usually associated with the violin such as Rock, Psychedelic and Afro all blended with Classical, Jazz and Folk Music.
