Aangebied deur die Idas Valley Community Trails

Kom stap dié spesiale roete deur die Stellenbosse woonbuurt Idasvallei saam met die Walking by Faith Ladies en plaaslike inwoners. Gaste word verwelkom met koffie en tuisgemaakte koesisters of roosterkoek, waarna die gids deelnemers meer vertel oor die buurt en natuurgebied. Elke stapper kry ’n inheemse boom om te plant in die natuurgebied, wat deel is van die Idasvallei-gemeenskapsroete. Die organisasie is aangewys as ’n top innovasieprogram van die Wêreld Ekonomiese Forum.

Ontmoet 30 minute voor die aanvang van die toer by die HS Stellenbosch-padelbane in Merrimanlaan.

Walk this special route through Idas Valley with the Walking by Faith Ladies and local community leaders. Guests are welcomed with coffee and koesisters or roosterkoek. The guide will share stories and information about the neighbourhood and the natural environment with its distinctive vegetation and animals. Guests will each receive an indigenous tree to plant in the nature reserve that forms part of the Idas Valley Community Trail – recognised as a top innovation programme by the World Economic Forum.
