ABOUT
This month marks the 65th year of independence for the DR Congo from Belgian colonial rule, which occurred on June 30, 1960. Fuata Moyo, a Pan-African brand with its inspiration rooted in Congo, has decided to celebrate one of Africa's most significant fashion countries. The evening will feature a spectacular showcase of La Sape, the unique Congolese dandyism that blends fashion with artistic expression.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in their most dazzling attire, reflecting the flamboyant and colorful spirit of the Sapeurs.
As the night unfolds, guests can savor an array of traditional Congolese dishes, tantalizing their taste buds with rich flavors and spices. The air will be filled with rhythmic beats and live music from Congolese musician Sylvester Kabassidi, along with an art exhibition from contemporary Congolese artists, inviting everyone to dance and celebrate the joy and diversity of Congo. Whether you're a fashion enthusiast, a foodie, or simply curious about the dynamic cultural tapestry of the Congo, this event promises an unforgettable experience.
