MEDIA CITY ACADEMY IS HOSTING AN OPEN DAY FOR THE 2026 ADMISSIONS, AND YOU ARE INVITED.

Media City Academy is a fully accredited institution offering nationally recognised qualifications in film, television and broadcast production. Based in Johannesburg, we combine creative learning with real industry practice. Our programmes are designed to give you hands-on experience from day one, using professional equipment in a working studio environment.

At Media City Academy, you won’t just learn how the industry works, you’ll live it. Our goal is to prepare you for real careers by bridging the gap between education and the media world.

What to Expect on the Day

During the day, you’ll take part in practical workshop sessions and break away into smaller groups where you’ll meet and engage with professionals who work in the industry every day. Whether you're into storytelling, cameras, editing, or sound, you'll get a chance to explore it all.
