ABOUT
Hi AllSo this is a really BIG deal for THUHC and our cause to help as many homeless animals as we can.
We are being featured on KykNets's VeranderDinge TVShow.
They will be filming us at our 31st Hike at Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve, what a beautiful venue for this really special occasion.
Entrance is FREE and all we asking for is a donation of Pet Food no matter what size, for animals in need that we will donate.
Another request we have is to ask you to wear clothing that makes you STICK OUT FROM THE CROWD!
We will have the cameras rolling and we want you to be featured on TV, so go full out, bright, loud, bright - we don't care :)
The distance is just over 5km
Kids over 8 recommended
No animals allowed
Bring water
Sunscreen
Snacks
Pet Food( if you able)
And the biggest smile you have lets really make this one for the books !!
Hike is limited to 250 people and we will get moving at 8:30am
Please arrive early, when the inside parking fills up please park on the road outside.

Please read these so that you go to the correct entrance.
GPS coordinates
26.3037° S, 28.0109° E
From N1 & N3
From the (N12) highway, coming from either the western bypass (N1) or eastern bypass (N3) get to the southern bypass (N12)
Take Kliprivier Drive off-ramp (R556) and travel south
At the third traffic light turn right into Impala Road
Travel 4 kms and turn right into Springbok Road
Turn first right, just before the Engine garage into Silver Lane
At the T-junction turn right into Peggy Vera Road
Pass the Klipriviersberg Recreation Centre on your right and turn right into the new KNR entrance precinct immediately after the rec centre
Coming from the M1South
Coming on the M1S, pass Gold Reef City, pass off-ramp to Nasrec, look out for the "Vereeniging - R82" sign making sure you don't end up on the N12 to Bloemfontein! (Tip: be in the right lane)
Continue on the R82, passing Columbine Avenue off-ramp (South Gate shopping centre on your right)
Travel 3 kms and turn left at the first traffic light into Pierpont Drive - there is a sign pointing to Kibler Park
Follow this road for about 1km to until you get to a fork (there is a small island)
Take the left fork (Pierpont Drive) and almost immediately a right fork
Continue on this road (Pierpont) to the t-junction on Peggy Vera Road and turn left
Pass the Klipriviersberg Recreation Centre on your right and turn right into the new KNR entrance precinct immediately after the rec. centre
