Marissa Groenewald also known as The Rope Runner, is a South African athlete who runs marathons and ultra-marathons while simultaneously skipping rope. She started this practice as part of her injury recovery plan, finding it more engaging than static skipping. She has used her platform to raise funds and awareness for Love Justice International, an organization fighting human trafficking.
