SAGA CAPE TOWN Anthony Meindl Actors Workshop(AMAW) Scene Study Masterclass

AMAW presents a special masterclass for SAGA — the first in a potential series of actor training workshops. This first session offers an introduction to the AMAW technique, which focuses on being, listening, embodying the character and circumstances, active processing, and making bold choices.

Structure:

• Participants will be partnered for scene work and be acting (warmup, cold reading technique with partner, we will go around and adjust individually)
• Participants will go up to work in front of the class (scene + guided feedback/talkback takes 15–20 mins each).
• Scene partners and scenes will be assigned beforehand. Everyone will be working.
