Secret Cellar is Cape Town’s new premium underground comedy night – literally. Hidden behind a bookshelf in the cellar of the historic Cape Town Club, this showcase brings together the country’s top comedic talent in an intimate, late-night setting.

Proudly presented by award-winning show-runners That's Not Funny in collaboration with Cape Town Club. And Cape Craft Lab who’ll be serving drinks all night long.

LINEUP – 5 July 2025

Dalin Oliver – Dalin is a multi-award-winning comedian. He’s the former sports presenter on Good Hope FM’s breakfast show. Dalin’s taken his comedy around the world, most recently completing a tour of Australia with his show 90 Day Comedian. We’re thrilled to have him as our headline act for the evening.

Mel Jones – Mel is an award-winning comedian, MC, and a former award-winning radio producer and presenter. She’s known for her quick wit, relatable stories, and infectious personality. With Mel hosting you know this show is in excellent hands!

Wesley Paulse – Welsey is a rising star in SA comedy. He was a part of the 2024 Savanna Comics Choice Newcomers Showcase and finalist of the Jive Funny Championship 2024. He’s performed at the Jive Funny Festival at the Baxter Theatre.

Nate Levinrad – Nate is an exciting young comedian from Cape Town. He was part of the 2025 Comics Choice Newcomers Showcase. He has been making waves with his dry, acerbic style on stages across his home city, in Johannesburg, Makhanda and even in San Francisco.
