This Youth Day, we celebrate the brilliance, creativity and spirit of young people with Young, Gifted & Painting — a bold sip & paint experience where you don’t just reflect on history — you wear your truth.

This is a space to honour, to express, and to create something that lives beyond the day.

Say goodbye to ordinary canvas painting — and hello to art you can wear.

We’re handing you a blank white T-shirt and fabric paint, and you’ll be creating a piece that speaks your truth, honours your story, or channels the spirit of June 16.

CURATED SOUND EXPERIENCE: A Youth-Inspired Soundtrack

We’re setting the vibe with a rich blend of sounds from protest to pop, jazz to amapiano — telling the story of youth culture through music.

In tribute to the late Presley Chweneyagae, we’re screening the Oscar-winning Tsotsi.

A gripping, emotional film that explores survival, transformation and the harsh beauty of our townships — it’s a powerful way to end the night.
