Take Four Piano Quartet

Performing in one of the most beautiful homes in St Francis Bay, the Take Four Piano Quartet is excited to present an engaging program featuring:

- W.A. Mozart: Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, K. 493

- Gabriel Fauré: Piano Quartet No. 1 in C Minor, Op. 15

This performance of Fauré's work is part of the centenary celebrations commemorating the composer’s passing in 1924.

The ensemble consists of four distinguished South African musicians: Zanta Hofmeyr on violin, Jeanne-Louise Moolman on viola, Susan Mouton on cello, and Elna van der Merwe on piano.

Formed in 2022, Take Four is a collaboration of four talented women who have previously worked together in various musical settings. Their shared experiences have fostered a deep friendship, which is beautifully reflected in their performances. Audiences can expect to experience the joy and camaraderie that the quartet brings to the stage, creating a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere.
