Sol Tribe Kids Weekly Craft Classes

At Sol Tribe, our purpose is to bring back the rooted nature of our crafting experiences, to involve our participants in the full process from raw material to beautifully finished artworks. Our classes can accommodate 12 primary school children aged 6 to 13.

Our weekly craft club allows your child to dive deeper into the heritage crafts we offer. Perfect for beginners or those who have dabbled already through our holiday program, this enriching experience offers a series of crafts that take between 2 and 4 weeks to complete. We start off our program with a four-part Sheepskin slipper workshop, followed by a two-part leather bag workshop and a two-part finale of basket weaving.

Bookings are discounted termly at R2150 for the 8 sessions, or can be paid for individually at R300 a session.

Classes are held on a Friday from 15:30 to 17:30 at Soil For Life in Constantia.

Dates for the classes are as follows:

15th, 22nd, 29th August and 5th September - Sheepskin Slippers

12th and 19th September - Leather Bags

26th September and 3rd October - Basket Weaving
