In honor of two globally significant dates, World Environment Day (June 5) and World Ocean Day (June 7), we’re hosting a two-part beach cleanup event at Sunset Beach, Cape Town. This is your chance to take meaningful action for the planet — on land and at sea — by joining hands with others who care deeply about our environment.

Part 1: World Environment Day – “Our Land. Our Responsibility.”

Date: Wednesday, 5 June 2025

Time: 10:00 AM – 14:00 PM

Location: Sunset Beach, Milnerton, Cape Town

This day is focused on land-based environmental protection. We'll clean up litter along the beach access areas and surrounding dunes to reduce plastic pollution entering the ocean. Let’s restore nature where it begins — right here on land.

Part 2: World Ocean Day – “Our Ocean. Our Future.”
