Join us on 1st June at the Elderflower Nursery for a hands-on exploration of candle-making! Using a variety of waxes, you'll learn traditional and creative techniques to craft your own unique candles, learning the properties and best practices for a wide variety of waxes. You will walk away with an understanding of candle mechanisms, such as how to manage wick sizes for your burn pool, and how to get the best scent throw from your oils. The best practices for colouring and melting your waxes, making combination waxes, and their most effective uses.
What You'll Learn & Create:
Experiment with different materials and methods to create candles that reflect your personal style. No experience needed—just bring your creativity!
From this class you will walk away with 3 candles: rolled beeswax, a poured scented candle, a dipped and carved candle.
