ABOUT

Each cause will have its own unique set of funders, way beyond the obvious donors for each sector. It’s important to understand the networks that lead to the recruitment of these donors. Also, it's crucial to see how the donors are connected to each other.

This one-hour webinar will introduce you to the fascinating world of Funding Ecology Mapping - a process that no fundraiser or NPO CEO can afford to ignore.

Funding Ecology Mapping will reveal an extensive web of interconnections, highlight the ‘usual suspects’ or keystone funders, as well as those unique funders that your peers have identified and engaged with. By visualising the interconnections between funders and grantees, you can see a definitive picture of the main actors and funding for your sector.

Funding Ecology Mappping diagrammatically portrays the connections between your organisation, your current funders and potential ones. We investigate these inter-connections, so that we can realistically develop a prospect list for you and provide insights on how you can engage the donors. We can research corporations, foundations and government funders.

The world of funders is complex and inter-related. So, it’s important to understand the dynamics of your funding marketplace and manage the journey of your organisation - within the natural ecology of funding networks.

Funding Ecology Mapping is a tool for demonstrating the underlying structure which determines an otherwise confusing world. It will uncover previously untapped funders, connections arising from partners; and, it will answer two key questions:

  1. Who could fund our organisation?
  2. How do I secure funding from them?
