Cathedral Peak, Drakensberg Hike

A hike over the Youth Day long weekend at Cathedral Peak, Drakensberg. On Saturday We will have a group of keen hikers who will summit Cathedral Peak with an altitude of 2004m with a distance of 19km return.

For others we will explore some of the other incredible trails like Baboon Rock (guided) – easy to moderate 4.1km (3 ½ hrs); Doreen Falls Hike (self-guide) – an easy 2.1km; Sunset Walk (guided) (4 pm).

On Sunday we will hike Lake Jared (guided) – easy 1 hr hike; Mushroom Rock Hike (guided) – easy to moderate 4.25 km (3 ½ hrs) or Rainbow Gorge (guided)- moderate to strenuous (4.5-5 hrs).

Accomodation at Didima Camp that has self catering cabins with a restaurant and bar on site.

Ticket includes annual membership to Kusudi La and small donation to our animal welfare beneficiaries.
