The Friends of Orchestral Music are proud to host the Final Dress Rehearsals (FDR) of the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra Winter Season. All proceeds collected go directly to the running costs of the orchestra.

Beethoven Symphony No. 7 in A, Op. 92
Two of South Africa’s foremost pianists will present a much loved concerto for two pianos, Botha studied in South Africa and the US, won several prizes and now teaches at the North-West University; Prins, who studied with Antonio Pompa-Baldi in Cleveland, and now teaches at the University of Pretoria; the award-winning discography of Sanderling, who was born in Novosibirsk to Kurt Sanderling, is widely acclaimed.
The rehearsal takes place at the City Hall, Darling Street, Cape Town from 11am until 2pm.
