Synopsis:

Ten-year-old Finn, whose parents are separated, is supposed to go to Berlin to see his mother and her new boyfriend for his birthday - by train, all alone for the first time. When his backpack and ticket are stolen, he has to get off at the next stop and is turned over to the police by the conductor, who doesn't believe his story about the stolen backpack. When an opportunity to escape presents itself on the way to the police station, Finn takes off with an adventurous girl named Jola. Their destination: the sea. Thus begins an eventful journey for the two, in the course of which they encounter, among other things, a gang of rockers and a real wolf.

Der zehnjährige Finn, dessen Eltern getrennt leben, soll zu seinem Geburtstag zu seiner Mutter und deren neuem Freund nach Berlin reisen – mit dem Zug, zum ersten Mal ganz allein. Als ihm während der Fahrt sein Rucksack samt Fahrkarte gestohlen wird, muss er beim nächsten Halt aussteigen und wird von der Schaffnerin der Polizei übergeben, die ihm seine Geschichte vom gestohlenen Rucksack nicht glaubt. Als sich auf dem Weg zum Revier die Gelegenheit zur Flucht bietet, nimmt Finn gemeinsam mit einem abenteuerlustigen Mädchen namens Jola Reißaus. Ihr Ziel: das Meer. So beginnt für die beiden eine ereignisreiche Reise, in deren Verlauf sie unter anderem einer Rockerbande und einem echten Wolf begegnen. © Filmportal.de
