CTL Queer Book Club - 21 June 2025

Time: 9:45am for 10:00am

Venue: Central Library Cape Town

Meeting Point: Meet inside the library, specifically in the Art Library section. Follow the stairs up to the mezzanine floor.

We meet up at the Art Library portion of the library. Follow the stairs up to the mezzanine floor. We usually have a coffee and a social "Meet and Greet" where we can share ideas on books and get to know each other.

Note that you do not need to be a member of the library to join this event, and you don't need to read any specific books to be part of this book club.

This is a great event to attend on your own, even if you're shy and don’t know anyone.

Please note: We use the term "Lesbian" as an inclusive umbrella term. It is a label that helps you find a community, not a prescription of who is allowed in this space. This group welcomes and celebrates all sapphics, women who love women (including bisexuals and pansexuals), and all trans and gender non-binary folk.

If you wish to register as a member of the library, bring along:

- your completed membership application form;

- a valid identity document (ID);

- proof of your home address (for example, a utility bill)

- one or two references (you can also ask some members of the book club to be your references)
