Experience the magic of Christmas at Oom Piet’s Christmas Party.
Enjoy a fun filled evening with a trailer ride, a picnic on straw bales, amazing magic tricks and the fabulous Drummies showcasing their twirling routines. Meet the local Firemen and their truck, sing along to festive Carol’s and delight in ice-cream from Noddy and friends.
Plus the little ones can meet Father Christmas and his fairy for gifts and sweets.
This event is made possible by the incredible support by you, our guests, allowing the Durbanville Rotary Club to continue serving our community.
Join us at Oom Piet’s Castle situated in the Durbanville Racecourse for an unforgettable night of joy.
Show starts at 7pm and ends at 10pm
Gates open at 6:30pm
Gift receiving children aged 3-8 years (Can stretch to 9 if your child still believes in Father Christmas)
Please bring a wrapped gift for your child (No larger than a shoebox size) labelled clearly with their name along with an extra gift or non perishable item of food for a child in need.
Bring your own picnic basket – NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED. A food truck will be available for Coffee and eats to purchase. Don’t miss out on the festive fun and the chance to support a great cause.

INSTRUCTIONS
Tickets are not transferable or refundable
This is a children’s party so No alcohol is allowed
Please bring your own picnic baskets and blankets.
We will have a coffee truck selling their goods as well.
Due to the high risk of fire, no smoking will be permitted in or around the venue.
Please bring warm clothing as it can get cold as the sun goes down.
Please bring a torch as it is dark when returning to the car.
Only children between the ages of 3-9 will received presents from Father Christmas.
Older children are welcome and will be treated as adults.
Younger children are allowed but it could be too tiring for them and they could become restless.
No extra children may be brought to the party to receive gifts from Father Christmas.
Extra Adults may come – R180 cash to be paid on the night – exact amount please as no change will be available at the gate.
Any change due will be forfeited as a donation to Oom Piet.
Presents must not be bigger than a shoe box size. Should it be too big, it will be replaced with another gift which the parents will have to purchase from us.
Clearly mark the present with the name of the child
Family gifts to be tied together. Please put into a black bag (or similar) and keep it separate from the items for the underprivileged.
Keep it wrapped in the boot of the car for the helpers to collect it so as not to spoil the surprise.
In the spirit of Christmas, please consider bringing a toy or non-perishable food for a less privileged person.
In the event of bad weather, the decision to chancel or move the date of the party will only be decided on the evening of the party.
No refunds will be offered.
Gates will open 18:30. No need to arrive too early as you will have to wait at the gate
