ABOUT

Debates and da Beats — an afternoon into evening where sharp minds meet great vibes. No hype, just a space for curious thinkers, community connections and music lovers alike. The series is brought to you by the Campaign for Free Expression.

Our first debate is "How free should free expression be?" Between the talking, kick back and groove with the infectious sounds of DJs Charles Leonard and Chibukurenga. Other performances include the ever-so-talented Gift Nwokorie, the multi-talented Wiebke Holm and beautifully-talented Field Band Foundation.

Best of all? Entry’s free!

Chef Mantis Shabane is serving up some seriously tasty curry - please grab a meal voucher in advance — and maybe pick one up for someone who can’t afford theirs (there's a donate option at checkout).

It’s conversation, community, and some of the coolest beats around — all in Brixton.

Please donate if it resonates! #freespeech
