We're throwing it all the way back to the early 2000s for a night of iconic bangers and feel-good chaos — and it’s all for a good cause!

Karaoke Kong is proud to host SING IT BACK, a Y2K-themed karaoke fundraiser in support of the WITS Cheerleading Team. From Britney to Beyoncé, Nelly to Natasha Bedingfield — this night is your chance to relive the soundtrack of your youth while helping a passionate student team reach new heights.

Why we're backing this:

Cheerleading isn't officially recognised as a sport in South Africa, which means teams like WITS Cheer receive little to no funding. This fundraiser helps them train with proper coaches, attend competitions, and host workshops to grow their skills and visibility. And since the university doesn’t cover the costs, they’ve taken fundraising into their own hands — and we’re here for it!

Tickets are just R80 and all proceeds go directly to the team.
