Finalists' Concert (SASMT: Into The Mix Competition)

The SASMT 'Into The Mix' competition is open to primary and high school learners who perform repertoire from Rockschool, Trinity Rock & Pop, ABRSM (Jazz or Pop), UNISA, or any other recognised Contemporary or Jazz syllabus. A Musical Theatre category is also included, encouraging participants to incorporate props and stagecraft in a solo performance from a musical theatre production. Ensembles such as Jazz Bands, Rock Bands, Steelbands, and Marimba Bands are also encouraged to participate and showcase their musical talents.

Finalists’ Concert

The competition culminates in the Finalists’ Concert, during which prize winners will be announced and cash prizes awarded. Audience members can look forward to an afternoon of high-quality live performances, celebrating the creativity and dedication of young musicians.
