TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. General Conditions of Service
1.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to all passengers utilizing Harmony Shuttles’ transport services for cross-border travel between South Africa and the Kingdom of Eswatini.
1.2 By purchasing a ticket and boarding a Harmony Shuttles vehicle, passengers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Passenger Requirements & Travel Documentation
2.1 All passengers are solely responsible for ensuring they possess valid travel documentation, including but not limited to:
- Valid Passport
- Applicable Visa (if required)
- Customs Declarations (if required)
2.2 Harmony Shuttles will not be held liable for passengers denied entry at any border post due to insufficient or invalid documentation.
3. Safety Protocol & Passenger Conduct
3.1 Passengers are required to adhere to all safety protocols issued by the driver or company representatives. This includes:
- Mandatory seatbelt usage at all times.
- No consumption of alcohol or illegal substances in the vehicle.
- No smoking inside the vehicle.
3.2 The driver reserves the right to refuse service to any passenger who:
- Appears intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
- Behaves in a disruptive, abusive, or violent manner.
- Poses a safety risk to other passengers or the driver.
4. Luggage & Personal Belongings
4.1 Passengers are permitted to carry luggage within the limitations specified by Harmony Shuttles, that being; 1x25kg and 1 carry-on luggage.
4.2 Harmony Shuttles accepts no responsibility for:
- Loss or damage to personal belongings.
- Items left behind in the vehicle.
Passengers are encouraged to keep valuables on their person at all times.
5. Indemnity & Limitation of Liability
5.1 Passengers travel at their own risk.
5.2 Harmony Shuttles, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, loss of life, damage, delay, or loss of property arising from:
- Accidents
- Natural Disasters
- Road Closures or Border Delays
- Acts of God
- Civil Unrest
- Theft or Criminal Acts
- Health-Related Incidents (including COVID-19 exposure)
5.3 Passengers hereby indemnify and hold harmless Harmony Shuttles, its staff, and representatives against any claims, demands, or legal action arising from the use of the transport service, except where gross negligence on the part of Harmony Shuttles can be proven.
6. Cancellations, Refunds & Changes
6.1 Passengers must provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a booking.
6.2 Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure may result in forfeiture of payment.
6.3 Refunds, if applicable, will be processed at the sole discretion of Harmony Shuttles Management.
7. Border Control Compliance
7.1 All passengers must comply with instructions from Border Control Officials at both South African and Eswatini border posts.
7.2 Harmony Shuttles will not be responsible for any fines, penalties, or deportation costs incurred by passengers in violation of border control regulations.
8. Emergency Procedures
In the event of an emergency, passengers must:
Follow the instructions of the driver.
- Cooperate with emergency services if required.
- Remain calm and avoid causing panic.
