We are now on volume 19, thanks to all of you guys for your continuous support.

Sounds from Mama Afrika is a vinyl only party strictly dedicated to African music from all over the continent.

We take you through the African musical journey from your traditional African sounds, your African funk and disco, Afrobeat,

Rumba, Highlife, Bubblegum, African Jazz, etc

Please come join us as we celebrate the heritage of Africa through African music.

We have now moved to a new venue called La Trip Club and Social ( 102 Castle Street, CBD) next to Athletic Club and Social

Our guest Dj for this month hails all the way from the UK, Hannah Allchurch

She is our sonic sister and is know for her keen ear towards jazz and African music.

So be prepared to be taken to different spheres and sound scapes that will keep you on toes.
