Boschendal Citrus Festival

Join us in the orchards at Boschendal, Franschhoek, this July for a special citrus picking experience guided by our expert farming team. Pick your own ripeflavourful citrus straight from the trees and take home a taste of the season.

The Citrus Festival will be open on both Saturday and Sunday, with our lively market open all day for food, drinks, and family fun. Enjoy delicious farm-fresh fare, award-winning wine, live music, local crafts, and entertainment for the kids — the perfect weekend outing for all ages.

Entrance Fee:

R160 per person & R80 per child under 12 yrs

Ticket price includes 45 minutes of citrus picking, a produce bag & 1kg of ripe citrus to take home

Event Time:

09h00 - 16h00 (Citrus picking slots available from 09h00 - 14h00, every hour)

Pick your perfect time! You’ll be asked to choose a time slot to pick your citrus when booking your ticket

Additional Information:

Any additional citrus will cost R25 per kg.

Regrettably, no pets are allowed.

Should ticket holders wish to cancel, no refunds will be issued. In the unlikely event that we are forced to cancel due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered the option of a full refund or a credit note for a future Boschendal event of their choice.
