MØTHER, 90 minutes of motherloving fun, presents solo and group acts by Joburg’s 1st ever drag king collective, Jozi Kings and Things. Performances include lip-synch, dance, singing, magic, and comedy. 

Featuring Angelo, Dank Sinatra, Ethan T Smoke, Frikkie Dell, Jordamn, Neyitsha Bhoyi, Ntate Lapse, Richard Cock, Quinn Qing and Salty Crax, with a guest appearance from Lust Vegas.

Jozi Kings and Things is a collective of queer drag artists from Johannesburg, dedicated to exploring, critiquing, and redefining gender through performance. Despite being overshadowed by drag queens in popular imagination, Jozi Kings and Things aim to spotlight their performances of masculinity and gender-disobedience. They use these performances to explore queer identities, challenge patriarchal norms, and advocate for freedom. Beyond entertainment, Jozi Kings and Things express solidarity with struggles for self-determination from Palestine, Congo and Sudan, to home, in South Africa.
