Calling all cake novices, solo art enthusiasts & anyone looking for a fun morning learning something new over Mother's Day weekend!
Join us to learn how to decorate your own Vintage Ribbons Cake, while enjoying complimentary drinks & treats.
You'll be taught step-by-step by our talented cake artist, how to:
Mix your own buttercream colour palette
Crumb-coat your cake in buttercream
Perfect the buttercream coat for a clean finish
Use different piping techniques to create the vintage effects
Work with sugar pearls & ribbons for the finishing touches
We'll provide all the tools, ingredients & of course, your delicious sponge cake that you'll get to take home & share with friends & family - only if you want to, that is ;)
Feel free to bring your coffee or snacks, but please note, this is an alcohol-free event.
One lucky class attendee will go home with a special Oh My Cake! apron - that's if you've attended our classes before ;)
*You will work on a mini-sized cake that serves up to 5 people & usually retails for R 485. Don't worry, we'll provide you with storage instructions to ensure no cake goes to waste.
Find the event at Cedar Square, at the Baby City entrance. If you need help, head to the Oh My Cake! store on the ground floor next to Sorbet & Woolies, & one of our friendly staff will direct you.
