TIMELINE
7.00 - 8 pm
Immigrant (CONGO/SOUTH AFRICA)
Ambient and transcendental jazz soundscapes from this community-rooted sound selector.
8.00 - 9 pm
Bobby Brim (FRANCE) present the performance Mixing salivas: smelling inter epidermis.
A sonic performance where a sampler is Bobby’s only companion. They transmit intimate archives, hijacked CAM (computer-assisted music) productions, and their shapeshifting voice(s) – mutating from human to monster and back again, in a transgressive, colorful limbo.
Twisting choreographic and sonic codes, this uncanny character conjures an intimate, joyful, and high-energy experience by hacking the frameworks of electronic music concerts.
A trans-pitched sci-fi voice playfully questions: “Why don’t you try to be more political?”—cut through with hyper-techno ultra-basslines sampling cis male screams (acid internet finds) and generational anxieties. The stage shifts rapidly—from passivity to dance, from politics to mutation.
9.00 - 11 pm
Baby Lunatic, AKA Keely Shinners (SOUTH AFRICA)
Cape Town's notorious disco demon DJ brings an ethereal set at the intersection of supernatural punk and glamorous techno.
11 - end pm
Bobby Brim (FRANCE)
Closing DJ set filled with digital uncanny voices and deep, jumpy, energetic basslines.
