ABOUT

The iron cowboy is the story of James Lawrences' crazy idea of completing 50 ironmans, in 50 days, in 50 states. His idea was scoffed by many who told him that it was not possible to achieve. His doctors, friends and sponsors advised him against it.

This is not a story exclusive to triathletes and endurance athletes. The story shows the strength that we all have stored deep inside of us and how it can be summoned to achieve the impossible. It has relevance to anyone who wants to achieve more in their life.

James "the Iron Cowboy" Lawrence lives with his wife, Sunny, and their five children in Utah. After breaking several Guinness World Records, James wondered if he had truly found his mental and physical limits. He knew there was more. Repeatedly mocked for choosing a goal so big, Lawrence takes on the challenge of doing 50 Ironman races, in 50 consecutive days, through all 50 US States. His journey will make you laugh, cry and possibly squirm in your seats in disbelief. Lawrence shares with you the ups, the downs and the life lessons learned along the way. Experience first-hand the remarkable journey of James Lawrence and his family.
