Spring Luncheon

We are delighted to inform you that our fundraiser is back on! After a postponement due to severe weather, the new date is set to be September 28th, 2025 at 13:00. It has now also become our first ever collaborative Spring Luncheon (organised by Viking Rowing Club and Wits University Boat Club).

All are welcome! Friends, family, rowers and non-rowers alike. This lovely springtime afternoon at Beachwood Gardens will start from 13:00 and feature a buffet luncheon, musical performances by the talented Southside Griot, a raffle for a weekend stay at The Blades, a live auction led by Rob Riccardi (you'll recognise his voice as commentator for all the regattas!), and a silent auction with over 60 items up for grabs! Auction lots will include a mix of rowing and non-rowing themed items from wooden oars, art prints, books, a photoshoot, a Digby Hoets ceramic pot, and scupltures made specifically for this evening by our very own masters rower Steven John Wilkins!

***UPDATE*** All adult luncheon tickets will now include a raffle ticket (worth R80) automatically! This includes all tickets bought previously. You will be contacted via WhatsApp about your raffle number. Raffle tickets will still be available to be bought on the afternoon!

Please note that there is NO parking at this venue, Uber is advised for all attendees.
