Target Audience: Tshwane communities (mainly those who have a harder time reaching health care)
Optional Commemorative Pack: R350 (pick up Thursday 9 October 2025 - Friday 10 October 2025 at PHSOB)
Join us for the Charlotte Maxeke 7.7km Fun Run, a powerful health and heritage event that celebrates the legacy of Charlotte Maxeke while promoting wellness, innovation, and equity. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this year’s event champions early detection and access to healthcare for underserved communities.
Starting at the Pretoria High School Old Boys Club to the Innovation Hub and walking along the route that travels through Tshwane’s “Innovation Corridor,” highlighting the role of science, entrepreneurship, and technology in creating a healthier society ending with a vibey Farmers Market and pop-up Health Clinic
What to Expect:
- 7.7 km route (fun run where everyone welcome)
- Free health screenings & breast cancer awareness talks before and after the walk
- Wellness exhibits, food stalls & giveaways
- fun zone with activations and vendors
- Prize-giving and commemorative merchandise
