29 March, Kids Love Jazz will take over the courtyard at The Centre for the Less Good Idea as part of Collation 3: The Unexpected City. Rooted in the spirit of improvisation and storytelling, our curation will bring together poets and a live act to explore Johannesburg’s rhythm, hidden harmonies, sudden dissonances, and the poetry found in its everyday movements.

We’ll navigate the unexpected moments of serendipity, resilience, and the fluid dialogue between the city and its people. Whether in jazz’s syncopation or a poet’s cadence, the city will speak, and we will listen.
