Welcome to AWS Community Day South Africa

AWS Community Day South Africa is a one-day, no-fluff, all-signal conference by the community, for the community. Whether you're shipping code to millions of users or just getting started with your first S3 bucket, this event is for anyone building on AWS and beyond.

We're bringing together developers, architects, devops folks, data wranglers, AI experimenters, and cloud-curious humans from across the country for a day of solid technical talks, practical demos, and genuine conversations. There’s no vendor noise or canned keynotes here — just real stories from people solving real problems using cloud tech.

What to Expect

• Talks from local and international AWS experts
• Live demos, war stories, and lessons learned the hard way
• A CFP that’s open and blind-reviewed — anyone can submit a talk
• Plenty of time for hallway chats, networking, and spontaneous nerding out
• A few surprises. Possibly stickers.

Standard Tickets

For working professionals and tech enthusiasts attending in their individual capacity. If you’re employed, freelancing, or just generally in the game — this one’s for you. Note: This ticket is not valid for unemployed or full-time students. Please select the Student ticket.

Student Tickets

Reserved for unemployed, part-time and currently enrolled, full-time students. You’ll need to provide a valid student card or proof of registration during ticket purchase. Note: If you're working in the industry full time, please choose the Standard Ticket
