ABOUT
The EmpowHER Development Series is a dynamic 3-part live event designed to build communities and expand networks for women entrepreneurs. Taking place in Gauteng, KZN, and Cape Town, the series connects ambitious women with successful Top Women Award winners and seasoned entrepreneurs.
Hosted by Standard Bank Top Women, EmpowHER aims to equip participants with the tools and mentorship needed to grow thriving businesses and contribute to South Africa’s economic development.
Each event features a Pitching Den, where 10 pre-selected entrepreneurs will present 3-minute elevator pitches to a panel of top business experts, followed by a 5-minute interactive Q&A session with real-time feedback.
Winners from each region will attend the 22nd annual Standard Bank Top Women Awards in Johannesburg in December 2025 where one standout entrepreneur will be crowned the EmpowHER Entrepreneur of 2025, winning a trophy and R50,000 cash prize.
A highlight of each conference is the Fast-Track Networking session - an hour dedicated to making valuable connections, sharing insights, and generating business opportunities.
