ABOUT
START WITH WHY!Small businesses are the lifeblood of the South African economy yet many can't get off the ground because they lack the skills and resources to get going, especially in this tough economic climate. With this in mind, we want to help foster entrepreneurship and incubation in a tangible way by creating a small business university and coworking space to operate from. We believe it's no longer good enough to just teach people how to fish; we want to go one step further and give them a fishing rod.
OUR SPECIAL GUEST
Ran Neu-Ner is the co-CEO of The Creative Counsel which recently sold for around R1.5 billion rand and he will be our first speaker at our first event. Ran recently arrived back in South Africa after a short stint at Harvard University and Singularity University. His topic on the night will be called "Kill The Dog" and is a powerful talk about effective leadership for high level individuals.
HOW DOES IGNITE WORK?
Ignite is a brand new monthly learning event created to help raise funds to incubate small businesses in South Africa. When you buy a ticket to Ignite, you are not only gaining access to an evening of learning and thought leadership BUT you are also helping fund our incubation hub where small business owners can go to learn and operate from.
All elements of the event are sponsored which means all proceeds of the event goes toward funding incubation. The event is brought to you by Suits & Sneakers and the Impello coworking space. We have one guest speaker per event sharing thought leadership around their selected topic.
